In response to this demand, the company Electronic Board has been covering the needs of leading brands such as Siemens or Allen-Bradley for more than 10 years. The key to its success relies in the optimal management of production processes and the quality of its services.

With the vision of expanding and offering increasingly competitive solutions to its clients, Electronic Board decided to invest in optimizing the processing of their information. Specifically, the objective was to improve data management of production processes, thus being more efficient, agile and effective. Given the specialization and typology of the services offered, this task soon became a real challenge.

The main problem that Electronic Board faced was the interrelation of the information it handles. Many of the operations that were part of the existing business flow were digitized in different systems and formats. Trying to unify these processes, the company implemented several strategies to implement technological solutions (CRMs, ERPs, etc.) that could cover these needs. However, after several attempts, none of the implemented tools addressed the group’s needs integrally.

That is why Electronic Board contacted TechsBCN. Its objective was to develop a system that would cover the entire management of the company’s production processes. From customer acquisition, through production, monitoring and financial control, the software had to manage all its processes.

Comprehensive Solution for the Management of Productive Processes

As per the request of Electronic Board, TechsBCN began the development of a comprehensive solution for the management of the company’s production processes. Given the wide coverage of the solution, it was decided to develop the software using agile methodologies. This methodology allowed the client to quickly have small modules of the application incrementally. This fact made it possible to adapt to the changing needs of the company and collect customer feedback prematurely.

One of the most important requirements for Electronic Board is that the system be as fast as possible. Past negative experiences with certain management tools had seriously impacted the speed of their processes. On the other hand, the availability of the software was also a key factor: the system had to be able to run from any workstation and on any support (PC, tablet, mobile, etc.). This was because many of the Electronic Board operators are industrial field workers and not only office workers.

Based on the specified requirements (both functional and technical), TechsBCN chose to use web technology. Systems built using SPA (Single-Page Application) are extremely agile and can run from any platform. Thus, the new Electronic Board tool, Webtronic, was developed using the following cutting-edge technology:
